Troy Ostapiw - CMD Licensed Trainer

Over the last decade I have  taught Self-defence & Modern Martial Arts to the Saskatchewan Police College, Regina City Police, R.C.M.P. Police defensive tactics, Saskatchewan Justice, Saskatoon Heath District, S.I.A.S.T , Casino  security, Corrections ERT,  S.W.A.T. Personnel  

During this time I taught empty hand control tactics, arrest & control, close quarter combatives, use of force & the law, grappling, Striking , Clinch, Combat Intelligent Officer,  self-preservation C.I.A.  as well as Crazy Monkey Defence.

For  the past 15 years I have instructed various martial arts programs to competitive athletes, as well as every day people ranging from students, amature athletes, professionals & corporate employees.

Over the last 20 years I have had the chance to train with some of the world’s top martial arts instructors all over the world, such as Kelly S. Worden, Rickson Gracie, Dan Inosanto, Brian Willis, Masaki Hatsumi, Tony Blauer, David Meyer, AJ Scales & Rodney King.

 I hold various high level certifications in various martial arts and I have extensive Law-enforcement training experience, I am also a published writer and professional Coach.

I am currently the only certified Trainer teaching the Crazy Monkey Defence program in Canada, authorized by Rodney King CM creative director.  CMD offers clients a chance to develop as champions on and off the mat. I am very proud to represent CMD as it is an evolution in modern mixed martial arts that is practical, fun & functional.
