Combat Intelligent Officer

combat_intelligent_officerToday there are many L.E. Unarmed Programs on the mark et, but very few offer the benefits of the CMD L.E. Program. Most of these courses deal with Arrest and Control of suspects. While these are necessary skills to have for any police officer, the CMD-LEO Program is different as it deal with LEO’s who are physical attacked and need to survive that attack, when they have no option but to fight back, when immediate arrest is simply not possible. If you have ever watched the television show ‘what went wrong’ or ‘COPS’ you would routinely see police offers been physically attacked by suspects, where they are unable to retrieve their weapons in time and are often beaten or even killed. In the CMD-LEO Program we focus on teaching LEO’s how to survive those attacks in the shortest time possible.

Officers can progressively build up stress resistance, and develop honest working knowledge of how the concepts work in the real world or street environment. The majority of the CMD-LEO program utilizes gross motor movements, different ranges, as well as covering ground tactics, and controls. These are positive concepts for most police agencies, as the focus of the CMD-LEO program allows officers to control a subject rather than harm him or if need be escalate their own response to survive.

CMD teaches concepts that are based on real world experiences, in a way that is progressive, realistic, and safe to learn & allows officers to develop skill that work under pressure. It provides a structure that is grounded in defense, yet allows officers to develop the actual abilities and confidence they will need to deal with a subject who is passive, active or may fully assault an officer. CMD will fit into any current PDT or Arrest & Control program.

Most importantly we teach LEO’s the necessary mental game resiliency tools required to survive physical attacks and spend an equal amount of time drilling them during the training program.
